Raising the water level for Jame’s pond in Goring in order that he was able to tickle the fish.

Before
We allocated three days for the job, the first two were blistering hot.
Day one – we made the decking frame – tricky angles, a bit of maths and a Makita Chop saw set up in Jame’s front garden.
Day two – rehouse the 25 gold fish, two frogs and tadpoles from the mud and sprawling lilies. Clean out the pond, removing absolutely every little spec of shingle and muck. Line the pond with EPMD heavy duty rubber liner and repopulate the new pond with fresh water. We replanted portions of the lilies and other pond plants in baskets with white pond stones that I’d washed ready. Then the fish were reacclimatised to the water in a special bag and slowly swam out when they were ready. The pump had a new oxygenating block and the fish were as happy as ahem! fish in water.
Day 3 decking top on and clearing up. The two frogs had come back out of the hedge and were scampering around in the pond.
Happy customer.
